In the Bruno Gröning Circle of Friends all world religions are represented

Gruppenfoto Mai 2013 Bruno Gröning's work is not bound to any religion or denomination. It requires no new profession of faith from help-seekers. On the contrary, Bruno Gröning advised his audiences to remain true to their faith and to attend their churches. "I want to fill the churches again with believers (...) Everyone must stay in his religion but here in the community take up the power of belief." It is irrelevant whether one is Christian, Jew, Moslem, Hindu or Buddhist. The only important thing is that one carries belief in God within him or is ready to accept Him. "All people, regardless of nation, race or religion are worth being helped.", according to Gröning.

Own belief taken seriously

Bruno Gröning admonished people to take their faith to heart and put it into practice. He was aware of the deplorable state of affairs in his time and knew that many people expressed their faith with their lips, but not with their hearts. Therefore he often said: "Don’t go to church (or synagogue, mosque, temple, etc.) to rattle off your prayers! No! Put the prayers that you have said into practice!"

He urged people to take their faith seriously. "Prove that you really are a person who believes in God! Go to the house of God (as is mentioned above) and pray devoutly there! Not as before, as some individuals, perhaps even many, have done – only going there to see what this or that person is wearing and to talk about him, and many other dirty things that I have seen and heard with my own eyes and ears. You shouldn’t do that. When you go to church you should thank God devoutly for everything good that He has done for mankind."
